SW-Motech Open House 2025
For the 16th time, the SW-Motech headquarters were transformed into a vibrant gathering place for the international motorcycling community during their annual Open House event.

Thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts from around the world flocked to Central Hesse (Germany), enjoying mostly perfect summer weather as they immersed themselves in pure motorcycle culture — from live stage shows to demo rides and the bustling Open House grounds.

The journey to Rauschenberg became an experience in itself. As part of the Road to Rauschenberg community campaign, motorcycle enthusiasts from across Europe made the pilgrimage, many covering more than 1,000 kilometres in the saddle. Among them were team members from SW-Motech branches in Italy, Spain, and France.

This year, the event’s international character was more prominent than ever, with business partners arriving from around the globe, some even traveling by motorcycle from as far as Egypt and Morocco.

SW-Motech opened its doors to the public, offering exclusive behind-the-scenes insights through guided company tours. Visitors had the opportunity to purchase accessories on-site, receive personalised product advice, and explore various departments to better understand the company’s operations.

The free campsite was lively throughout the weekend, complemented by the welcoming atmosphere of the beer garden.

Families were well catered for, with children enjoying activities such as a bouncy castle and taking their first laps on bikes and quads, creating a memorable experience for all ages.

Adding to the excitement, the FMX stunt show delivered high-adrenaline performances three times daily, captivating audiences with spectacular, gravity-defying action.

The stage program at the SW-Motech Open House delivered a compelling mix of inspiration and adventure, sparking wanderlust and celebrating the spirit of motorcycle travel. Irene Seidler captivated the audience with her authentic and courageous account of solo travel through Iran.

Wetzlos Weltwärts took attendees on a dusty off-road journey through the rugged beauty of Tunisia, while seasoned traveller Erik Peters shared the challenges of his most dramatic odyssey yet—navigating the aftermath of his motorcycle being stolen. French storyteller Lolo Cochet and KTM test rider Thomas Mitterer offered fascinating insights into their day-to-day experiences on two wheels, rounding out a program that truly brought the thrill and fascination of motorcycle adventures to life.

Whether it was the adrenaline of the FMX stunt shows, inspiring travel presentations, or the thrill of test rides on the latest models, SW-Motech Open House 2025 delivered unforgettable moments for every motorcycle enthusiast. Approximately 3,000 test rides were recorded over the weekend, with Ducati setting a personal best—conducting more demo rides than at any previous Open House event.

The manufacturer line-up was equally impressive: nearly all major motorcycle brands were in attendance, including BMW, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, KTM, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, Triumph, Yamaha, Zero, and many more. In total, 14 manufacturers and more than 50 exhibitors showcased their offerings along the bustling dealer mile.

Planning for SW-Motech Open House 2026 is already in motion, with SW-MOTECH committed to once again transforming Rauschenberg into a vibrant hub for the international motorcycle community.
